![]() ![]() However it can be done with just two rebar, the machete, and some pipes to repair it, and that's without throwing anything, and only repairing the machete 2, or 3 times at most. I ended up finding 3, which makes a HUGE difference. I knew on Nightmare all I'd have to do is find more rebar. I'm 58 (with eyesight and reflexes to match), and never had to read a tutorial on how to win this fight. Yep, JEEZ, is an appropriate response given the amount of threads that contain literally ALL you need to know via a search that takes only a few seconds. By well developed character I mean have most powerful ranged (bow / crossbow) or melee weapons, somewhere up to 5k damage. Finishing story on Nightmare mode is not an achievement, real achievement is getting most enjoyment from the game, you dont need to force it on yourself. Eventually some of us get tired of repeating ourselves for those failing to research it properly. You are particularly enjoying Nightmare mode. What's "mental" is ignoring what most advise, and making yet another thread on the topic due to neglecting to pay attention to the important bits. Plus it keeps you safe from his rocks, and gives you time to prepare for the virals, whom have to climb to you. Jumping on top of him from the container, especially with the 200+ damage rebar, easily breaks his armor fairly quickly, which is what is required to do serious damage. That's why I ALWAYS mention it, and I've participated in a LOT of the threads on this topic. What baffles me most though, is almost everyone complaining about this fight, or giving advice on it, says ZERO about the rebar, yet it's easily the most powerful weapon to use, and there are always at least two of them. Some come back and admit they were able to defeat him after breaking the armor, others sheepishly don't return, out of embarrassment, or giving up. There are PLENTY of threads claiming that, only for the OP to find he hadn't broken the armor yet. There are SIXTEEN pages of search threads on "The Pit" in the Dying Light Discussion, and most threads on the subject talk of jumping on top of him from a container after he's stunned, yet you mention ZERO about that, or using strong attacks for that matter.Īnd you're certainly not the first who's claimed he can't be damaged. Story completion percentage can be found in the top right corner while the game is paused, next. New Game +, New Game Plus or NG+ is not to be confused with starting a new save. Nor apparently did you read what you found well enough. New Game Plus or NG+ is a feature in Dying Light that is unlocked in the Main Menu under Play Campaign Save Advanced settings, after reaching 100 story completion. This only proves as I said, you didn't search THIS forum well enough. I´ve smashed hit head 1000 times, backstabbed him, attacked his arms everything. The problem is i am doing this but i´ve never damaged him. I´ve seen tons of stuff coming up about letting him hit the spikers and stuff and hit him when he´s stunned. I´ve searched Google and Youtube for over 30 minutes and haven´t found a answer for MY problem. LOL, did you even bother to try searching THIS forum? This topic comes up ALL the time, and most always share the same simple tips.
